Which Protein Bars are Keto Friendly

The low carb and high fat keto diet means scouring the internet, supermarket aisles and facebook groups, trying to find foods that work for you and keep you in ketosis.
This means trying to find new low carbohydrate foods and high fat foods.
Here we look specifically at the protein bars which may work for your keto diet.
We guarantee that this is going to be one of the biggest lists of recommended keto protein bars that you have ever seen or will ever see. We can create and show this many suggestions, like you see below, because our number one task is to find outdoor and sports foods and add them to the website, categorise them in as many ways possible, add their nutritional numbers and work out extra nutritional info from all of that data.
We then share that with you, through the food discovery tool. Where you can filter, sort and compare over a thousand food items.
Below we use all of these food items and filter them to show only protein bars that meet specific criteria, in this case, keto friendly, low carb and high fat protein bars. They are put in to their own section so that you can better utilise the discovery tables that cover one specific keto area, protein bars which are marketed as keto friendly, actual low carb protein bars and actual high fat protein bars.
The tables below have pagers on them, so you should be able to scroll through the tables to find more suggestions if you aren't happy with any you see in the top 10.
Which Keto Bars Have The Most Protein
We have added this list of bars which are categorised as keto bars by the manufacturer. They are using this as a marketing point and we highlight this as a diet in our food discovery tool.
You may notice there aren't that many protein bars in this list and that is because we have only categorised the protein bars in the database as keto, when they are advertised as such by the brands that manufacturer and sell them.
The brands that are actively selling keto friendly protein bars are:
- CarbRite
- My Protein Carb Crusher
- Grenade Carb Killa
As we find others in the wilds of the internet, we'll add them to the food discovery tool database and that means they will automatically appear here.

Low Carb Keto Protein Bars
The protein bars in this list have all from the database, over 200 in total and are sorted by those with the least carbs, which we call carbs per gram.
This is worked out by taking the carbs and serving weight of each keto friendly protein bar and getting the magic number, carbs per gram. We have then sorted this list to show all of the protein bars in an ascending order.
As well as the carbs amount, you can also see the diet types so if you are after a vegan keto protein bar or gluten free keto protein bar, then this should help you narrow your choice down even further.
We have also added the protein type used in each bar if that is something that is important to you, so if you want a soy based or whey based keto protein bar you can choose from the suggestions using this column.
Whatever your carb limit is for each day, hopefully the low carb section here can help you find protein bars that mean you're getting enough protein a day as well as sticking to your carbohydrate limit, whether thats 20g or 50g a day of carbs.

This means there are about 40+ choices of protein bars out of the 200 in the database which have less carbs per serving than the advertised keto friendly bars below.
0.34g per gram of carbs is the number you should be looking at if you are to keep the carb density lower than the average keto friendly protein bar.

High Fat Keto Protein Bar
If you're looking specifically for a high fat keto friendly protein bar, this table should have some suggestions for you.
We have taken the entire database of protein bars and sorted them by those with the most fat. This is worked out by taking the fats and the serving weight of each protein bar and getting the fats per gram of each.
With this fats per gram number you can then compare any and all keto protein bars equally as this is the amount of fats the bar has per gram, NOT per serving, which would be an unfair comparison as all bars weigh differently.
As well as the fats per gram column, you have the actual fat per serving right next to it that you are able to sort the entire database of protein bars by.
There is also other diets that each protein bar fits in, many are gluten free, or even vegetarian or vegan if that is what you're looking for.
The final two columns are flavoring of each bar, if you prefer chocolate keto protein bars over any other flavor then you can see these flavors straight away to find a high fat keto friendly bar that will best suit you.
There is also the protein source, this is very important to some people so we like to include it. There are many different types of protein used in high fat keto protein bars and we recommend choosing a protein bar that has a mix of protein types to best cover your protein needs and amico acid requirements.
If you are interested in seeing high protein, high fat and low carb protein bars, head on over to the food discovery tool where you can filter and sort to your hearts content.
