Cacao and Almond Energy Balls

The Cacao and Almond is our original recipe and still a real favourite. Each ball is made with just six natural ingredients to create something simple and delicious. The mix of sweet dates with rich cacao, roasted nut butter, almonds, coconut oil and a pinch of salt will make everyone happy!

100 grams almonds
200 grams dates
2 tablespoons cacao powder
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 pinch salt

Begin by placing the almonds in the food processor and pulsing until they are nicely crushed. Add the medjool dates and coconut oil and pulse until it’s fully mixed. Add the almond butter and cacao and then mix again in the food processor. Add a pinch of salt if desired. Take a tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball. Continue doing this until the mixture is finished. Place the rolled balls into the freezer for an hour, then remove and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
